I bought this 78" level after my 2nd (cheapy) level once again fell apart. I use it mainly for cabinet installation and framing, so I need a high degree of acuracy.. The other two previously mentioned levels both broke after falling one too many times... I know you're not suppose to treat your levels like a hammer, but in the construction world, its hard to keep that from happening. I decided to get this Dewalt level and see if it could do the job better... I have to admit, I was hesitant... The way I treat levels and the higher price tag on this level really made me think twice... A friend talked me into to (I'm sure so I could test it first before he bought) and I'm happy he did... I've dropped this off over-hangs (straight onto concrete slabs), stepped on it, rolled tools over it, and just about everything else you're not suppose to do to levels...
